Is it better to Lease the car privately or through a company?

Generally because of the VAT benefit when Contract Hiring a car through a business it will be more cost effective than a private scheme. Any tax saving achieved when contracting privately will normally be out weighed by higher monthly payments.

New or Nearly New?

This really depends on the type of car. Fleet cars such as Mondeo’s, Vectra’s, Omega’s etc lose their value quickly early on in their life and therefore there are large savings to be made by choosing nearly new. This is illustrated on our nearly new rates page where some of the vehicles can have delivery mileage but are still £50 or £60 cheaper than new car rates. If on the other hand you are looking for cars such as BMW’s, VW’s, Audi’s, Mercedes etc which have much lower depreciation, then when our purchasing discount is taken into account ‘nearly new rates’ will be much closer to new and therefore generally new vehicles will represent better value.

Where will I get my car serviced?

All our rates include One Call. You simply telephone, fax or E-mail our central office and arrangements will be made to book your car into a dealer near to your home or office. You don’t need to take your car to the dealer, we will arrange collection, delivery a courtesy car if required and your car will even be valeted as well. This service is available throughout the UK.

Which are The Best Cars to Contract Hire?

Contract Hire rates are for the total cost of running the vehicle, they take account of depreciation and maintenance costs not just the purchase price as do other forms of Lease or Finance. The most important factor in the whole life cost of a vehicle is without doubt its re-sale value after 2-3 years. Therefore cars that have low depreciation such as BMW’s 3 series, VW Golf’s or a nearly new car that has already suffered it’s initial depreciation will have the best value Contract Hire Rates.

What If I get the mileage wrong?

We are able to give you a quote to the exact annual mileage you require. If during the contract you find that you are doing more or less than this, we will amend the contract free of charge and adjust your monthly payment accordingly.

Can I buy the car at the end of the Contract?

Before the end of your contract you will be given first refusal on the purchase of the vehicle at a price based on the trade value at the time. This can be paid or financed by the driver or any person the company nominates. Alternatively you can simply return the vehicle to us with no further commitment or extend the contract at a reduced rate.

Can I still buy the car from my local dealer?

As we are a totally independent company and have no ties to any dealers this is not a problem, providing that your nominated supplier can match our purchasing terms then the rates quoted will be exactly the same.
